Adding an Opportunity

Once we've added properties and contacts into the system, it's time to connect interested clients to properties they are interested in. This option allows you to view all interested clients for a specific property at any time, along with the history of interactions with them.

{primary.fa-info-circle} Opportunities, as we call them in our system, are links between properties and interested contacts, with a complete history of interactions.

Adding an opportunity is simple and is done on the contact page, as logically, a certain contact will express interest in a property. Then, we open that client by going to Contact List, finding them, and clicking on the View or Edit button. On both pages, we have the option to add an opportunity for the displayed contact. You need to click on the Add Opportunity button, which will open a new page where you can see basic client data on the right side, while on the right side, there are fields for selecting the property the contact is interested in (mandatory field), then a field for selecting the likelihood of purchase (according to your assessment), the status of the contact related to this opportunity, any offer amount, and additional notes if any. Adding an opportunity triggers the recording of activities on the timeline as Opportunity added with the date and time of creation, both for the contact and the property.

{primary.fa-info-circle} Once an opportunity is created, it will automatically add activities to the timeline, both for the contact and the selected property.

From that moment on, all tasks in the system related to this opportunity will automatically generate new items on the timeline (history). This way, by using our system correctly and easily, you will have a complete history of events related to this opportunity or this contact-property pair.


Viewing Opportunities and Timeline

The overview of opportunities is located on the page Contacts -> Opportunities Overview or in the top menu icon (third icon) - house with a heart. On this page, we see an overview of all opportunities sorted in a table by properties. This means we see properties and then a list of all contacts interested in that property. Here, we see the contact's name, status of the opportunity, likelihood, any offer amount, and the date of the last change i.e., when the last activity related to that contact occurred. Here we can open an opportunity and change some of the values related to the opportunity if we click on the Edit button, e.g., we can change the status, likelihood, or add a comment. Any changes made will be recorded in the history as a new item on the timeline. Also, there is a Delete button where we can delete the opportunity. All of the above is related to the opportunity, and besides that, we can click on the contact's name and get a window on the right side with contact information or click on the property name to open a new window (tab) where we will see all the property details.


Individual Opportunity View for One Property

On the overview of all opportunities, we can notice an icon at the beginning of each row (in front of the property name).

{primary.fa-info-circle} The icon with the eye picture at the beginning of each row in the table where the property name is, opens a special page with a detailed view of all contacts and activities related to that property.

At the top of that page, we see basic property details, and below that, a list of all contacts interested in it, i.e., opportunities, with a timeline and the entire history of activities related to those contacts. The timeline can be scrolled left and right. All activities are sorted chronologically by the date of addition.
