Import and Export of Contacts

Import Contacts

Contacts can be added using the contact creation form. However, if the agency already has a list of clients in a digital format (e.g., Excel, CSV, etc.), they can be easily added through the contact import form. In that case, go to the option Contacts -> Import Contacts from CSV where you will see a file upload form. The file must be correctly formatted so that the system can read and insert the data.
There is also a sample file you can download and fill out.

Export Contacts

You can view the list of all added contacts by navigating to Properties -> List of All Contacts. This is a tabular overview where you can see a list of all contacts with basic information. Contacts are ordered chronologically, from the most recent to the oldest.

There is a dropdown menu button Export which allows you to export contact data in CSV or JSON format. The JSON format is a textual format used for data exchange with other applications. Clicking on CSV will download the data in CSV format, while clicking on JSON will present options to export in one of the supported formats—standard JSON or formats used by popular bulk email services like MailChimp, Bluemail, or MailerLite.
This allows you to easily export your contacts and import them into one of these mailing services, enabling you to send bulk emails or newsletters through them.

{primary.fa-info-circle} If you want to export all contacts, simply choose the Export option. If you want to export only specific contacts, filter them first, and then click Export.
