Before adding a property itself, it's necessary to add a property type. A property type is the form or kind of property, such as a house, apartment, cottage, commercial space, etc. The system does not have predefined property types, and it's left to agencies to define them according to their needs. To add a property type, we go to Properties -> Add Property Type. On this page, there is a field where we need to enter the name of the property type (e.g., House), then choose the base type, which is mandatory and necessary for some later actions. The icons representing the base types are clear, and we believe they don't require special explanation. After that, we select the features for the property type we want to add. The selected features will appear when adding a property of that type as well as during the search for properties of that type. It's clear that different types will have different selected features; for example, a plot of land will not have a number of rooms.
{danger.fa-exclamation-circle} This is a mandatory step, and until property types are added, it's not possible to add any property to the system. This is because the property type is a required piece of data when adding a property, and if you don't have any, then you can't add a property!
After adding property types, we can review them by opening Properties -> Property Types. Here, we can edit a specific property type, but also delete ones that we don't use (those for which there are no properties of that type).
