Getting Started Checklist

Overview

New agencies get a setup checklist that walks through everything the system needs before it is genuinely useful — your company details, your property types, your first property, and so on.

Nothing on the checklist has to be ticked by hand. Each step is checked off automatically as soon as you actually do it, so the list is always an honest picture of where your agency stands.

The Dashboard Widget

While setup is incomplete, a Finish setting up your agency panel sits on your dashboard showing how many steps are done and what the next step is. Use Go to jump straight to the right screen, or View full guide to see everything at once.

Once you no longer want it there, Dismiss hides the widget for the whole agency. The full guide stays available.

{primary.fa-info-circle} Only a user with permission to edit company settings can dismiss the widget, since it is an agency-wide setting rather than a personal one.

The Full Guide

The full guide lives on its own Getting started page and groups the steps into sections. Every user can open it — there is no permission needed to read it.

What you see there is filtered to you:

  • Steps you have no permission for are hidden entirely, so an agent is never sent to a screen they cannot open.
  • Sections for modules your agency has not enabled (such as rentals or off-plan projects) do not appear at all.
  • Later sections show a hint while an earlier required section is still open. It is only a hint — the links keep working if you want to skip ahead.

What the Steps Cover

Section Why it matters
Company basics Currency, country and logo feed prices, formats, documents, PDF exports, emails and your website. Invite your team here too.
Property setup Define your own property types and their attributes first, then add your first property.
Working with clients Contacts, what they are looking for, and their interest in specific properties.
Go online Configure your public website and submit it for activation.
Off-plan projects Create a project and add its units. Appears only if the module is enabled.
Property management Mark a property as managed and add its first lease. Appears only if the module is enabled.

Some steps are marked Required — those are the ones the rest of the system depends on. Others, such as inviting a colleague, are genuinely optional: a one-person agency is never nagged about a team it does not have.

Getting Help

The guide includes a WhatsApp support link that opens a chat with us with a message already filled in. If you get stuck on any step, use it — it is usually the fastest route to an answer.
